Our team starts with our family. Dave Vite, Deborah Dudas (Dave’s sister) and Dan Dudas (Deborah’s husband). However, it’s the rest of the talented Skillet Team that makes The Skillet one of the Best Caterers in Michiana. We believe in our people and promote service excellence. While we own the company, our people make it extraordinary!
Situated nearly halfway between Downtown South Bend and Town & Country Shopping Center in Mishawaka, The Skillet originally focused on serving the residents of the Swanson Neighborhood in South Bend. That was a time when local diners were frequently found just down the street.
Today, The Skillet is just one of three original restaurants from the 1950s still serving guests.
